The Truth About Coping With Anxiety Attacks
The problem with panic attacks is they can originate from anywhere, at anytime although experts do know they are generally the result of anxiety, but why this affects the individual the way it does remains a mystery. Controlling the anxiety which leads to a panic attack may take some time but the trigger to this event must be recognized so a method to stop it from happening can be devised.
Although this sounds simple it can be hard to achieve for some people but the rewards are great as it can mean the end of panic attacks altogether. Breathing exercises can be practiced and once this has been learned it is only a matter of initiating what they have learned to control and then end the anxiety attack. The breathing exercise relies on a regular two seconds breathing and two seconds breathing out, all the time ensuring the stomach is pushed out.
This is an important step as often the focus is so intense on the breathing that the panic attack victim may believe they do not have control over their breathing but this is not the case. e. breathing and not the underlying reason but it will force the person to calm themselves down.
